explanation

4000-XH

PE2-300m Gear ratio 6.2
Particularly recommended for shore casting games using PE around No. 1 - No. 2 and light offshore jigging games using SLJ rods. Also
suitable for popular boat-based Spanish mackerel games.
High-rigidity full metal (AL) monocoque body and large-diameter G1 duralumin MC Tough Digigear realize high winding torque that you would not expect from an extra high gear spinning reel.
In order to achieve high operability, the 4000 size uses ultra-super duralumin, which combines low specific gravity and high strength, for the main shaft, and the center of gravity of the reel is balanced toward the angler.

5000-XH

PE2.5-300m Gear ratio 6.2
"Standard" 5000-XH for light shore jigging. Especially recommended for shore bluefish casting games using PE1.5-PE2.5.
The 104cm winding speed is very effective in "speed battles" that are often encountered in bluefish games. This is also the most recommended item for the popular Spanish mackerel game from a boat.
The high-rigidity full metal (made of aluminum) monocoque body and large-diameter G1 duralumin MC Tough Digigear achieve a high winding torque that you would not expect from an extra high gear.
The 5000 size uses high-strength SUS for the main shaft to achieve a maximum drag force of 15kg.

6000-XH

PE3-300m Gear ratio 6.2
For shore jigging, offshore jigging and casting games using PE2-3.
The 110cm winding speed is extremely effective in the "speed contest" situations often encountered in bluefish games. This is a particularly recommended item for bonito games using PE3 class for large size fish.
The high rigidity full metal (made of aluminum) monocoque body and large diameter G1 duralumin MC Tough Digigear realize a high winding torque that you would not expect from an extra high gear.

Daiwa Technology

AIRDRIVE DESIGN
Air Drive Design is a next-generation spinning reel design concept that pursues the angler's desire to operate the lure as they wish. Air Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. The prerequisite is the installation of an Air Drive Rotor that produces light winding and high-response rotation, a lightweight and trouble-free Air Drive Bail, a thin-walled Air Drive Spool that has been designed to reduce weight by removing unnecessary material to the limit, and an Air Drive Shaft that supports the main shaft with a high-precision collar and has a non-contact structure with the pinion gear, allowing for light winding with extremely little rotation noise even under high load. The synergistic effect of these and the improvement of the weight balance of the reel achieve a high level of operability.
*23SALTIGA4000/5000/6000 are equipped with three features: AIRDRIVE ROTOR, AIRDRIVE BAIL, and AIRDRIVE SHAFT.
AIR DRIVE ROTOR
Using our unique theory, we have derived a new shape that looks as if it was cut out of a sphere, and by thoroughly removing unnecessary material from it, we have achieved a significant weight reduction while maintaining rigidity. This has dramatically improved the lightness of the reel, which leads to improved operability and sensitivity.
AIR DRIVE BAIL
The Air Veil has adopted a hollow pipe structure that provides rigidity and light weight, but in order to achieve further weight reduction, the diameter has been made smaller while maintaining the necessary strength. The veil angle is set to the optimum angle to allow the line to transition more smoothly from the veil to the line roller. This has made it even lighter and less troublesome.
AIR DRIVE SHAFT
The system uses a non-contact structure between the main shaft and pinion, a linear shaft that eliminates friction, and supports both ends of the pinion with bottom brackets, maximizing the power input to generate torque. Furthermore, the main shaft is supported by a high-precision collar, which reduces rotational noise to the maximum.
MONOCOQUE BODY
Strong and durable technology, monocoque body. Conventionally, spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover, and then secure them with several screws. In order to further improve precision and rigidity, the monocoque body eliminates the body cover and secures the gear by screwing a high-precision plate directly into the body. This improves the gear support precision, rigidity, and airtightness. Furthermore, by utilizing the space previously taken up by the screw, we have succeeded in expanding the size of the drive gear to its maximum. The monocoque body means MONO (one) - COQUE (shell). The completely new shape, which symbolizes the strength of a single shell, breaks the conventional wisdom of reel structure.
MAGSEALED
DAIWA's unique waterproof structure creates a wall of magnetic mag oil in the gap between the body and rotor, blocking out seawater, dust, and other elements.
*23The SALTIGA4000/5000/6000 are equipped with mag-sealing at three locations: both ends of the drive gear, the pinion gear, and the line roller (full mag-sealing specification). This further improves waterproofness, durability, and rotation performance, achieving the highest level of waterproofness among spinning reels.
MAGSEALED BALL BEARING
Using its unique technology, DAIWA has succeeded in turning ball bearings into mag-shields for the first time in the world. The magnetic liquid barrier prevents water and foreign matter from entering the ball bearing, maintaining the original rotational performance of the ball bearing while significantly eliminating rust, salt buildup, and abnormal noise.
ATD (TOUGH)
The ATD operates smoothly and keeps working smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. The ATD Tough uses carbon washers to achieve high durability. The drag has been designed to provide smooth start and tracking, allowing you to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.
LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)
While keeping the idea of reducing the contact resistance of ABS II, the contact point has been moved forward to achieve smoother line release. The effect of the ring part moving forward makes it difficult for the line to get caught on the ring, which has resulted in an approximately 5% increase in distance and trouble-free performance over the conventional ABS II. This is the next generation ABS spool that achieves LC (= LONG CAST).
